Our Values
With its singular philosophy, the domaine joined the Artisan Winemakers of Southern Burgundy. In order to preserve a rural and unique patrimony, the winemakers of the association desire to develop the character and specifities of each wine in the most sincere and faithful way possible.
Veritable cornerstone, ploughing the land is at the center of attention. With respect for the environment and the ecosystem, manual labour is promoted.
It is with these values that Domaine Barraud shapes the earth and the grapes to bring out the best of its terroir.
Artisan Winemakers of Southern Burgundy
AVBS is an association created in January 2004 by a group of winemaker friends in the Maconnais. Today the association is made up of 29 domaines and its goal is to promot and develop Maconnais wines, produced with respect for a human and artisanal agriculture.
